been to both 1 do not go armed your asking for trouble. 2 you will not be shot at either site all cemetaries are open to the public even if on private land the land owner must let you on by law and futher more indiana law requires you to be in danger and in fear of your life before a firearm can be used a unarmed man presents no threat to anyone. when i was there a old man came up to me in the cemetary and was very kind as i told him why i was there over a cpl cups of coffe with him he dispelled many myths and facts. is this place huanted i am not going to say find out for your self. i will be leading another trip thhere soon post if intrested in going

OK I have spent years looking into this I kinda let it go for a while and am getting back into it I have read every post on here I could. Here is my back ground. I have grown up in brown county Indiana since birth I am an eagle scout who worked every summer in Hoosier national. I have hiked the entire Appalachian trail and spent weeks and a few times months in the woods of Indiana. Growing up I have heard a lot about this podunck and explored at length to come across it. The initial stories I heard as a kid were somewhat different then ones on here. I have heard hundreds of stories of groups living in the secluded places around brown, Morgan, and Monroe county. everything from hippies and retired carnies to cults. I have met and spoken with a few people from the group of retired carnies and it is very interesting property. I have also had two experiences with the "cult" in stepp cemetery in Morgan Monroe In my study I have to say it is very clear that the bargersville bridge is not podunk. have been there hundreds of times the guy who owns the property is very aggressive and after speaking with him and hearing about the hundreds of kids and seeing all the graffiti I would be also. To further prove my point one of my good friends since high school is a cop in bargersville he pans for gold right of the bridge in his free time (yes you can really find gold in the creek) and has for over ten years with not one story to tell (other than finding little bits of gold). Now the REAL podunk I have searched maps and have explored many roads in the area. One place I heard was Bond cemetery road when looking on google maps it does not look like there is enough room for this to be the place so I started just looking at the road zoomed in and tried to see any side roads coming off the main road there arent really any that could be the road but I did see that in many spots it looked like trails or dirt roads coming of the main road and going into the woods many of them go deep and a lot run into a patch of evergreens that you can not see under. peeked my interest. Then I realized that this road is in yellow wood Forrest but i did see what looked like a dirt road leading out behind the cemetery and going deep into the woods A friend and I went down and there is indeed a old logging road that has not been used in a while seemed perfect for a hidden group of people living in the woods so we hiked it and it took all day and I did not see one living thing unfortunately. so I would mark this off your list nothing there although if you ever want to get off the grid pretty good place to go. Another location I got from a old man in brown county was in the country roads outside helmsberg looking at Google map looked like it could be the place a lot of nothing going out we went threw the back part of Morgan Monroe twords lake lemon then after lake lemon we took a turn on a side road looked freaky we then came to a old house with three wooden cross's in the front yard I knew where we were and don't know why I never thought to go out there before some of you might know waycross camp or luthern hills camp I believe there once was a girlscout camp out there as well pretty good spot gravel winding road not a lot of houses we went past the camps and turned left onto a small one lane gravel road very cool some houses but mostly abandoned or for sale we drove by a trailer and an old lady was standing on the porch smoking she was glaring at me it was kinda freaky I thought "oh man were here" we keep going and we both see something move in the woods I stop and throw the car in reverse I look up in the rear view and there is a freaking red car behind me right on I disagree I start driving forward and drive with the guy on my tail I wasnt driving fast just driving after a few I pulled to let him pass I wanted to see what would happen and he just passed me after a few more miles the road wrapped around and went back to population not it at all again well worth the drive. After that day i was almost over it. I started going to libraries and reading everything I could I also went to the historical society and was laughed at It was frustrating. I have heard these stories. I know these groups exist. I know. I also strongly believe in the points of power but again not in the form I have heard here I believe they are points of energy or vortex or whatever you want to call it I have experienced these points a few times in nature. the location of podunk is the suppost to be the center. in the same form as lay lines these places usually have a cluster of paranormal, Bigfoot, and UFO sightings, I would really like to know the location I know the "locals" do not like people going there and I am sure they are aggressive as well. I also strongly believe there is something there I want to experience an energy or ghost or whatever and have my entire life. growing up I never heard it called podunk but it was always just talked about like the "place" after reading a few threads on here and other sites I started to think maybe these two places are the same then I went back to all the places calling it podunk and asking everyone I would even stop if someone was in there yard and ask them about it. turned up a lot of places none of them it also got a lot of laughs I was asking everyone and getting no where then I had a few peoples eyes get real big when I asked them and the convos with them got very weird very fast. I asked another lady I knew had lived in the area her whole life and was the mom of a good friend of mine her eyes got real big and she said nothing I waited and realized she was waiting for me to give more details I started to and saw here eyes shift I knew something was up she instantly said she never heard of it I asked about the five points she claimed she never heard of it then I asked her about lay lines and she again said no never heard of it. Then she got real shut off and asked me to leave it was very creepy. I know with everything inside of me she knew what I was saying I could see it in her eyes I just freaking know it. I don't want to mess with the locals or disrupt anything I would very much like to find this place I have been to all the places above and can say 100% these are not it. If anyone has any more details or knows of any real clusters please let me know any details at all I have been all around the area 20 miles south of the bargersville bridge so I know the area well a description of a tree might actually help
