Well, I haven't yet found too much on the internet about this one, but I have a friend who lives in Union Mills that has visited this home where, "people were murdered", he didn't know much else about the story behind the house, but when he went there he described it as one of the most creepy places he has ever been to. && We have gone out to a few weird places together. He said the floor in the basement was made of sand, && their were all kinds of fresh footprints in it && there was a corpse of a dog in the closet in the basement. He got some wicked pictures of mists && "orbs" && what seemed to have been a shadow person. He also reported that there were bones from horses in the back where the horses used to be kept. He just described it as, "wrong". I'm gonna try to get his pics from him, && I plan to go investigae myself. Pix && directions comin soon!

Union Mills Old U.S. 30 -Graveyard shift. In the late 1980’s a man was returning home from work when he was struck and killed by a train. This happened around three in the morning and it is said that if you go to these tracks at around three a.m. you may see a ghostly blue apparition walking with a lantern. ?

So it's a railroad crossing and there's a house nearby where he lived that's supposedly haunted as well?

No. I know about the railroad tracks, I'm talking about something different. I don't in fact think that's it's anywhere near the tracks actually. I'll get directions shortly.

Sounds similar to "The Red House" in Charlestown. It's not a state renown haunt, but more of a local legend.

Ha! I got directions! Finally lol. I was thinking it might atually be considered the "House in Hanna" because the location is very close and the directions are similar.
Head East on 30 Untill you reach S 600 W in Union Mills Turn Right on W 1100 S Turn Left on Hunsley Rd and it's the only house on the right hand side, hard to see at night because it is surrounded by dense woods.
I can't wait to check it out!!

Ohhhhh man guys, I went to the house. First of all it is one of the HARDEST places I have had to find yet. It's back from the street and has NOOOO driveway and is covered with trees && junk. I'm telling you this is one of the scariest placest I have been to yet. I have to go back during the day before I will ever go back at night. It was a Sunday night around 10 ish when we went (and finally found it) we parked my [[beautiful]] car and started walking towards the house. As soon as we got within viewing distance we all started hearing hissing noises and like banging noises (LOUD banging noises) me && my friend immediatly tried to start thinking of things it could be (hissing could be raccoons..) we thought maybe the banging could be other kids or some hobos. But we just kept hearing them and it kept getting louder and louder and we started hearing leaves cracking like something reeeall big was coming our way. The hobo and other kids quickly got dismissed because there is a cop that lives down the street so if it were hobos I would imagine they would be tryin to be quiet, plus this place is seriously in the middle of nooooowhere. The kids theory was quickly dismissed as well because there isn't anywhere else to park but where we did, and we would have seen if anyone was there (we had 4 fricken flashlights) the leaves and the hissing we will go ahead and say was raccoons just for the hell of it. But we were so terrified we didn't even go in. Than we decided to get in the car and watch and listen from affar and we saw a shadow moving behind my car and vanish. Needless to say we just booked it out of there. I haven't had the chance to investigate during the day as of yet. But if you live near Union Mills, DEFINANTLY a place to check out, but make sure you can handle it and you have a few people with you. When I go back I'll get some pixx and stuff.
