Well I think its time to really find out where this Podunk is, I am going to head out friday night and go too all the places where people are saying podunk is. I have done some research on podunk and think I will be able to find the real one. If anyone is wanting to join my search with me I would love to have as many people as I can. I will be leaving friday the 16th and if I can not find it i will leave and try again on the 17th of Nov. I will post my findings at a later time. I will be taking photos.

I possibly could've gone with you if it wasn't on such short notice, I had to work tonight and the rest of the weekend as well.

There are two different locations for Podunk. Both seem likely candidates for Podunk. One is between Franklin and Whiteland, the other is nearer Martinsville and is very hard to find. The first one near Franklin is very creepy. There is an old house up a long lane that is gated and posted very clearly “No Trespassing“ which may be due to local teenagers frequenting here. The second one is in probably the most desolate part of Indiana there is. I have heard you should not go there because the locals don‘t cotton much to strangers and have heard they will shoot at your car. I have heard that if you turn your car off on the bridge, it will not start or will be very hard to start. Podunk was supposedly the center of an inverted star of power in Indiana although none seems to know what that means. This one is actually off Podunk road. #1 in

I've heard the Podunk near the cemetery is the fake one.

Yeah I think I remember you telling us about your visit to Podunk before Scott, in another thread a while ago. There's so many threads in the different forum sections that I can't find the discussion again, but I think I remember you saying that you didn't get to go all the way inside. Also remember you providing one of your maps, then I used it to look it up on Google Maps and looked at the satellite photo to check out the building and the bridge.

According to data provided by RELEASE ME and other posts the real podunk should be off of Bond Cemetery Road somewheres in the hills west of Brown County State Park. State road 46 runs south through the same area.
This location looks as desolate and vague as its description.

Great info Scott. So do you mean that there an actual plaque commemorating the influenza?
A quick question. Do you use a screen capture program in order to post images from google map because I can't seem to do it

Great info Scott. So do you mean that there an actual plaque commemorating the influenza? A quick question. Do you use a screen capture program in order to post images from google map because I can't seem to do it Use the PrtScn/SysRq key usually located above your Insert & Delete keys on the rightside of your keyboard. Then open MS Paint, right click the blank canvas and select "Paste." You should be able to do whatever you want with it after that.
