Alright we haven't been able to check anywhere out cause it's been so cold around here. But we are thinking about taking a trip somewhere in Indiana to check out some haunted places. Currently we are looking at Brazil/Terre Haute region. It looks like there are numerous haunted places there. If you have been there and would like to comment about any of the haunted places in that region that would be great. Or if there are anyother haunted places in Indiana you think we should check out let us know.

The old Catholic School in Dale, Indiana is haunted. We have entered before and have seen shadows of nuns holding children by the arm and taking the to somewhere you can't see. For a moment she stops and looks at you, and points her ruler, then you hear a child screaming. There is a fires escape at the top of the building and we have saw the door being budged, and seeing it like its trying to be open. At the bottom of the fire escape there are windows, and once we looked over there and saw lights from candles, and a old figure that looked like a priest started running towards the window, so we left, it is creepy. If you go to Circle S and look towards the intersection you will see that it is a four way intersection, so straight where it is Integra bank on the left, and nothings shocking on the right, when you get to the freedom bank on the right, take that road, you will come to a four way crossing, take a left, on the left right at the intersection is the old church. Thank you.

Thanks for mentioning that church. It sounds like a great place to go check out. Unfortunantly it looks like it is quite far from brazil and is not along the route we will be taking to get to brazil. So I doubt that we will check it out on this trip. But if we ever go out that way we'll have to check it out.

There is an old truck stop resturant in Paragon, IN that was recently reopened by new owners. They claim that there was a lot of "activity" while they were working on the renovations. There is a lot of history in the old place which they now call "The Barn". It was known as the old "Shady Acre Truckstop" when I was growing up in the area. Another place in the same area was a "ranch" known as the "Ravina Farms". I'm not sure what's going on there, but I do know of a family that abandoned the old mansion (now burned down) and swore it was haunted and they could not live there anymore. You might consider these locations for summer haunts!

Thanks for the info. Do you know of any other haunted places around that area that aren't on the list? We will add the truck stop into are list of places that we are considering. If we head out that way we will have to check out.

I've been checking out other areas close to where I live and there is a cemetery near here which is famous for its "Haunts" and that's the Stepp Cemetery in the Morgan Monroe Forestry. I personally have never had any experiences there during my many visits, but others swear it's a good spot.

i was looking at the cemetery before we left, but it was a little too far away from where we were staying at. if we ever head back down that way it definintly would be worth checking out.

T-Bone, if you do decide to visit the Edna Collins/Collings Bridge, I am very curious to hear about the experience. I have been out there many times, and while there have been times that close to nothing has happened, there have also been times I've had the living piss scared out of me.
Rumor has it that a little girl may get in the car with you and on the night of my last visit, something did get in the car with us and remained in the car with us for a majority of the ride home.
If you ever decide to check out Stepp Cemetery, I would like to hear about that experience too. I've been to the cemetery once, but to the wrong area of the cemetery. I have many friends that have been there and some have had no experiences there and some have had some very unusual ones.

Thanks for the link. I hadn't looked at the homepage, just the list of places in Indiana where I was directed to. I'll have me a look there now.

About the Paragon Truckstop- I've talked to the owners and they are interested in our group stopping by. I have the name and phone number of the owner if you want to call to set it up or I can do it. (They call it the Karaoke Barn.) About Stepp Cemetery- I've lived near it all my life, and I still have not experienced anything. There are too many other people roaming the woods nearby!

Sorry we were unable to make it out to the Truck Stop on our trip down to Terre Haute. Just too many places to go to and not enough time. However, if we ever go down that way again we will definently consider it. I also got you pm so I will keep that handy in case I need it.

I think you should check out moody again. I sent you the story. I refuse to post the story, because it sounds 100% crazy, and if anyone were to post such a thing, I myself would not believe it. If you do post it, DO NOT use my email addy or name.
