i live about 10 minutes from posey chapel and go there often. but this last saturday was the first time anything had really happened. we parked and my friends got out and i stayed around the car incase anyone driving by were to stop. then all of a sudden my friends came running. they had claimed to see a pair of red glowing eyes. we had never seen this before and we go about once every two weeks. then when we got back in the car my friends flash light wouldnt work and she had just bought it and put batteries in it. it worked in the cemetary, but not after she had been in there. it still doesnt work. also in the woods there used to be a flashing light we'd see. we thought it was the house down the hill, but last week there was nothing at all in the woods. maybe the light was broken, but every time we're there something changes.

I've only been here twice, but everytime I go I can't looks in those woods.
Last time I was there there were eyes and all kind of lights that would dissapear and move.
Something was also communicating with us because we would ask it things like do you want us here make a noise if you don't...and it would make a noise.

i live about a mile up the road from Posey and i was reading something about it on this site, and i noticed that it said the church burnt down a century and a half ago, my dad is only 43 and he was at the church the day it was set on fire. i've never been there at night yet, but i dont think id feel scared because i have so much family burried up there, i kind of feel protected but i guess i just have to find out sometime, i've heard such crazy things it makes me wonder!!!

"From Hwy 20 turn North onto Fail Rd. (it will be at a stoplight). Go down Fail Rd. for about 4 miles. You will come to a stop sign and see Heston Bar on the Northeast corner. Turn East and go about 2 miles and you will see the cemetery on the North side of the road."

Actually...Don't follow their directions.
Fail Road (Atleast as far as I am concerned) does not exist.
1000 north is right off of 20 about 5 to 10 minutes from the Michigan state line. It is NOT a stop light/sign or anything.
I don't know where in the world they got these directions...because if you keep going from 20 down to heston bar you will reach 39 (I believe...it's a major highway I do know that and it is not 20)....it is a stop sign....but that is not 20 and fail road. 1000 north may turn into fail road...but that would be after you cross 39.
You will have a REALLY hard time finding 1000 north in the dark as it is pretty much the only road that is set far back and the street sign is pretty much out of sight (It will be on the right hand side of the road...you're going to feel as though you have gone too far. You will pretty much be in Michigan...that's how far out there you have to go. It's right after 12 and 20 (to make 212?...220?...or something like that) merge into one...so when you get past that...start paying attention...should you pass it...and you find yourself looking at the "Welcome to Michigan" sign...just turn around and look for a Mobile gas station and 1000 will be immediatly after that.)
So if you plan to go out here...do make a day visit to make sure you can find 1000 north.
I cannot tell you how many times people have told me they followed the directions on here...and I tell them all the same thing...don't. Because they are screwed up.

The intersection of Fail road and US 20 is a prominent intersection on 20 to the east of Hwy 39 and 20. You need to go north on fail road to Hesston bar. It will take you right where you need to go.

a few friends and i took a quija board out there and sat in the woods on a blanket and asked the spirits what their name was, and it started moving fast then the moving piece broke in half, we freaked out grabbed the board and ran to the car like a bunch of girls....we even left the blanket lol but it really freaked us out.

the church burned down in the 70s and there is no record of a pastor hanging him self there and the red eyes are most likely to be the goats on the hill at the back of it the remains of the cemetry is in the woods i dont think this place is haunted i been there day and at nite
