On sat jan 27, my boyfriend 5 of our friends and myself vistied this place. Nothing much happened except for when were sitting behind the other car, two of us saw something run really fast behind the other car in front of us. Sun Jan 28, 07, my boyfriend his sister sarah and I go back. Before we went here, we visited Boone Hutch Cemetary where we found a whole outfit of someone's clothes. Weird. We took a pair of pants. We decided to go back to the bridge. I was the only one who was scared. My boyfriend and his sister love this stuff. We go through the bridge and turn around. We go back in turn our lights out and honk three times. Sarah was sitting in the back, but in the middle leaned forward. It was about a minute and we hear footsteps. They were loud and very clear sounding. Then we heard some sort of clang on the roof. All of a sudden it got really warm in the car. Like, there was no air movement whatsoever. Well, I guess Sarah got this feeling that someone was staring at her, so she just glanced to her left. The little girl was sitting in the car staring at her. White very bright face, dark dark eyes, and long dark straight hair. I didn't want to look at anything, so as soon as Sarah had seen her, she dived head first in between my legs. We told Ryan to go, but for some reason the car wouldnt start. We tried it again and it started, but Sarah was on the gear shift. Neither of us ever expected for the girl to actually get in the car. Sarah and I cried and screamed for the next 20 minutes. I even peed my pants a little. It was the most scared I've ever been in my life. This story is true. I couldnt even sleep last night, I was up all night thinking about this. My boyfriend was even scared, and he's never freaked out about stuff like that. I have never heard of anyone saying that the girl actually got in their car, but this is a true story. I've heard of tons of people saying this place wasn't scary and nothing happens. I don't know, why it worked for us but it did. Oh and also, at Boone Hutch, we took pictures of the clothes and saw orbs behind the graves. And one very weird thing was that in the pictures, the words written on the graves were backwards. I don't know what was so weird about a Sunday night.

I'd be a little freaked out, but.... its still cool. I even peed my pants a little. It was the most scared I guess it has to be true if you came on here at told ust you peed yourself Oh and also, at Boone Hutch, we took pictures of the clothes and saw orbs behind the graves. I’m not some experienced ghost hunter with the EVPs and cameras. Im just a kid in high school, and I'm going to tell whats happened to me. If you have questions, please email me, I'd be glad to answer them. I've taken 7 trips to Edna Collins Bridge. The first trip I sat in a 5 seat car, in the back right seat. We took a trip late April or early May. It was a foggy night. We drove to the bridge, turned around and got back on. We did everything you are supposed to, except we put the keys on the dashboard. As we drove away I looked behind me and saw some orangish lights, but to be honest, I was freaked out so a may have been seeing things. The morning after my friend texted me and said she hand small handprints on her car. I personally did not see these, because her dad made her wash her car after he saw the handprints. Trip two was at dawn. It was a 5 door car, and I again sat in the back right. We got to the bridge, and as we passed over it, a sherrif came behind us. Its pretty much only big enough for one car, so we had to keep driving until he turned off the road. After he did we went back, and since an adult was driving, she didnt want to get in trouble, so we didnt stop. However we heard a car honk as we were leaving. Trip 3 I drove in a mini van. It was a dark night. We did everything right except we put the keys on the dashboard. We got out this time and walked to both sides of the bridge. Nothing happened. Trip 4 I drove a 5 seat car. We first made a wrong turn (off of 36 we passed the church, took the first right instead of the second). We went down the road and realized we made a wrong turn. I was still driving and I looked to my left, and it looked like a guy was running towards us with a black hoodie on, and a white stripe down the arm. However it was more likely a deer. We turned back, took the correct way to the bridge. My friends were all here on their first time, so they were screaming. We passed over the bridge and were coasting. I turned around to tell them to stop yelling. Both of them were grabbing on to each other and were in the middle seat. Then (as I was still driving) we heard 3 knocks. It sounded like the classic 3 knocks you would do on a door, it wasn’t quick, and it wasn’t a creepy slow. I was still looking at them at this point. Nobodies’ hands were near a window. I started speeding up a little, then took a sharp turn to the first driveway I saw (this was a gravel road to what I believe is a house further up, it is on the left side if you just passed over the bridge). I was then looking out my left window to see a ghost or some teenager. I saw nothing. We turned back towards the bridge, and drove through without stopping (yes, I regret not stopping). Trip 5 I drove the van. We got there, did everything correct for the first time, got out of the car, and nothing happened. Trip 6 I drove the car. We passed over the bridge, turned around, and parked on the bridge. Did everything right. We went to behind the car first. Nothing. We went in front of the car. We are in front of the car, but the covered part of the bridge is not over us. We are looking around when we hear something in the plants/trees/bushes to our left (I have been here plenty of times and quiet noises don’t freak me out. This was loud, and I was scared). We ran back to the car and left. Trip 7 was interesting. Nothing happened at all. But as we were leaving my friend said that she had a headache and a stomach ache. We all talked and 3/4 of us had head aches, all of us had stomach aches. Probably a coincidence, but I thought I should state it. Also everybody but myself said something about the temperatures being different in the car (front hot, back cold). I didnt feel the difference.
So those are my stories of all of my trips so far, I’ll make sure to post if anything interesting happens again. Just a few notes. I take (according to google maps) US 36, to 600 West (church landmark), to 500 North, to 690 West, then to 450 North. Shortly before turning right onto 450 North, there are a few trailers there. There is a man who has frequently been seen there naked. Now for a few more serious things. I’ve heard of a man who will chase people off with a shotgun if you turn around in his driveway. This house is on 450 North. I believe its just passed the wooded area surrounding the bridge. Second of all, alot of the roads are gravel, so be careful not to go too fast and loose control (there’s a cross off the side of 500 North {left side if you’re going to the bridge} which usually symbolises a death at that spot). Some of the roads also have pot holes, so watch out for that. Also alot of these roads are old, and I doubt that two way traffic can fit, so keep that in mind. There are also deer and dogs or wolves (cant tell) that are on the road alot, so watch out. Last of all, I’ve heard numerous occurrences of residents doing thing to the travelers, such as threatening by chasing them off with a bat or shotgun. Just try to be respectful to the people out there, because I’m sure they’re annoyed by the ghost hunters who frequentl roam through their city. I think if we don’t cause problems, they won’t (or at least thats always worked for me). Be safe, and happy ghost hunting!
