Based slightly on the Winchester Mystery Mansion...Stephen King made a movie of a house that grows on its own once it can feed off of human energy. a psychotic professor gathers a group of psychics and goes into the "dead cell" with intentions of waking it up. That she does...it is kind of predicatable...It has great effects and gets you hooked pretty quickly. I would give it 3 out of 5

I saw this film, kind of strange! Interesting, though...

i like this one myself. then again im pretty fond of stephen king. books more than movies tho. dreamcatcher was a HORRIBLE movie if youve read the book! and the original version of the shining is nothing like the book. i prefer the newer version myself.

I really enjoyed this movie although it was a little drawn out at times. It wasn't exactly what I expected, but it was a classic King movie.

Yes, it was a made-for-tv movie. It had its good moments and it also had its stupid moments. Overall, I thought it was ok though.
