I read this story in the true ghost stories section on The Force website about an old abandoned "slave house" deep in the woods off of Liberty Knob Rd. in Scottsburg. So I've checked Google Maps looking in the wooded areas around the road to see if I could find anything. The only thing I really came up with was this: As far as I can tell there's no way to get to the house from the road, besides walking, unless the path is well hidden by tree cover. I'm guessing since I'm the only one left here from Southern Indiana no one has actually been here themselves, but has anyone here even heard of this location or know any more information about it?

When looking at the pictures it looks like there are a couple of possible paths....but it's hard to say for certain.
Just be careful out there. If there isn't a path and you have to walk....who knows what might be in those woods.
But what is to the left of the house? It's all that grey stuff to the left of the house?
Kind of looks like concrete....or grave stones?

Yeah I see some possible paths, but not anything that clearly goes to the road. If I do decide to check it out, it'll definitely be in the daylight before I try anything at night. I saw that too, it's possible it's concrete, or maybe gravel or just possibly just a huge rock, we get those sometimes in the woods around here.

Did you ever go to this house?
I have never heard of this place and I have spent quite a bit of time in Scottsburg. I have a lot of family living down there (Scottsburg) so I'll have to ask them if they know about it.
My great grandparents along with a few other family members are buried in Pigeon Roost Cemetery. I have been there many times...my brother lives within walking distance and I have experienced a few things there.

yea ive went down there with some friends from Scottsburgh and Salem. and there is a old grown up gravel driveway that leads back to it, but unfortunately at the time we where unprepared and had no flashlights and had to turn back without getting to the house.
