Terre Haute isn't too far at all, and it has a number of different locations. Haven't been to any of them myself so I can't tell you if they're any good or not.
Golf Course - apparitions are said to appear but not confirmed. Pictures produce orbs. Every night there is said to be a kid named Alex that roams around the 6th hole of the Country Club Golf Course. One night Alex was drinking with his friends and passed out and died. Now people say that every night if you go out there around 12:00 A.M. You might see Alex roaming around but you will definitely hear Alex vomiting and screaming for help. This is at the Terre Haute Country Club.
Highland Lawn Cemetery - Just the old story of Stiffy Green. Supposedly Stiffy (a dog) and his dead master can be seen walking in the cemetery at night.
Historical Museum - Witnesses claim to have Caught many things on film here. Everything from orbs to a small mist. The orbs seem to center around the old front staircase. The building was used as a halfway house for several years by the 3rd owners of the property. It is now used as a historical museum. Supposedly the old crib in one of the upstairs exhibits moves occasionally even though the area is closed off.
Indiana State University - Burford Hall - the ghost is Barb, a young woman who died of alcohol poisoning in the residence hall. Students have often reported hearing Barb vomiting and/or crying in bathroom stalls. Also, there have been reports of strange happenings like sounds, whispers, things moving and things of that sort.
Indiana State University - Cromwell Hall - a white cross under the window is seen on the 12th floor where the man jumped, on the west side of the building in room 1221. Now you can hear footsteps and strange noises in the hallways.
Old Mil Dam - Use to be part of the Under Ground railroad. It is very haunted at night. Certain nights stuff happens, a report of a small girl stands near the creek. They used to have the Underground Tunnels open but they are closed now. If you are in Terre Haute and go to Old Mil be careful. You might get a surprise.
St. Mary of the Woods College - Located on Hwy 150 just outside of Terre Haute the historic theatre is home to an apparition best described as a floating nun that on occasion can be seen late at night, as well as hearing footsteps of someone running up and down the stairs when there is no one else in the building. In addition to the theatre, there are tunnels under the campus (sad to say they are closed to the public) where many spirits have been seen or heard. There is also the unusual blood spot located in the main dormitory called O'Shaughnessy Hall. In one of the rooms there is a blood stain that looks like a face in the wall. The stain came from the early days of the school in the 1800's when a nun took her life. Although many attempts to remove the stain have been tried even when it appears to have been cleaned it mysteriously re appears days later to the same form and color which it was before. The name of the town that the school is in is St. Mary of the Woods, Indiana

Boone HutchFour ArchesBut the one that I would love to check out near Greencastle/Brazil is Edna Collins Bridge. In the 1920’s a girl would swim in the creek below the Edna Collins Bridge. When it was time to go, her parents would cut the motor and honk three times and the girl would climb into the car. One day the little girl did not come to the horn because she had drowned. Today if you park on the bridge and stop your motor and honk three times, the ghost of the little girl will climb into the back seat of your car. Do it at night, for the creepy factor, I guess. This is one of my favorites just for the pure anticipation and the thought of it actually working. I have heard of it working for some people, and people don’t lie. The bridge was NOT named for the girl that drowned. The builder of the bridge was Charles Collins, and it was probably christened after his wife or daughter. Please do not vandalize this bridge if you must dare an encounter with the phantom of the little girl. The folks around here and at Clinton Falls have worked hard to save this bridge and to keep it open to traffic.

Looks fine now, if you modified it and then uploaded it onto photobucket again it can sometimes take a bit of time for it to show the new picture due to the server being too busy. It eventually corrects itself, happens to me with Image Cave all the time.

What have you experienced upon your visit? I might check this place out one day if I make a trip to the area. I really wish more people would post here Scott and I were the only people keeping this place alive, and I'm not sure what's up with him. He or at least someone on his account posts here from time to time, but the posts never make any sense.

Yes Edna Collins is definitly worth checking out, but you have to be patient. Some people think things should start happening as soon as you pull into the bridge, but you usually have to sit there for about 5 or 10 minutes. Boon Hutch cemetery is also worth checking out, but be careful going out there at night. We went there one night only to run right into a cop sitting in the cemetery, waiting for people. He was cool and let us go with a warning, but just keep an eye out.

Yeah I hate when cops do that sort of thing, it's really bad right now around Halloween, that's why I try to stick to places that are a bit less known than the popular cemeteries or abandoned houses.
