Planning on going to Bobtown to check out The Coffins sometime this week. Any suggestions for other places nearby that we should check out?

Haunted Tracks -Well lookie there, it didn’t say anything about a phantom train. Local lore has it that a car full of people was killed when a train struck their car here. There have been reports of suicides in this spot, also. Park on the tracks, shut your car off and honk three times. People in your car will feel as if something is telling them not to be there. There were other treats promised but unspecified. It is recommended that you turn off all cell phones and the radio before you get here and remember…these tracks could still be in use so be careful, okay? It kind of sounds like a teen hang out so watch out there, too.

I want to see pictures of Bobtown whether they show nothing or the ghost of a boy sitting in your back seat maybe.

Does the road just dead end into the tracks? Also read something about a haunted bridge in nearby Columbus. Any idea of the location on that place.
I'll be sure to take some pictures, might even do some recording with the DV camera.

Actually the road continues for about 100 feet and dead ends. I think the original instructions may have called for you to turn around at the dead end and go back to the tracks. There is a haunted railway bridge in Columbus, as well as a haunted Subway, High School and Machine Shop. The bridge is in Noblitt Park at the North sector.

Wow, all that stuff is conveniently very close to each other. Thanks for the info. I'm guessing you have to park and a bit of a distance to get to the bridge. I think I remember reading somewhere that the Subway is no longer there, but the building is still standing.
Any idea where the Bonds Church/Graveyard close to Paoli is located? I know it's not really in the area, but I've spent all day searching for the location of that place, and all I found was a picture.

Looks like you can get onto the railroad bridge pretty easily if you park on 17th street.

Another interesting fact I just came up with, the haunted railroad bridge and the haunted tracks near Seymour are actually located on the same rail line.

Make SURE you know these roads well, maybe print out the map because this is in the middle of nowhere and I can't vouch for the dependency of the roads.

Yeah I always take a printed out map and directions with me on trips to new places. Thanks for the information. I'll probably go up there next week if the trip to Bobtown/Seymour/Colombus is a success, gonna be a busy night.

The tracks also go right by Pigeon Roost, Austin High School, and they are Southport's haunted tracks

If they're the tracks by Pigeon Roost, then they're also the tracks that go into the factory where Old Man Ike worked in Sellersburg before he went crazy and killed a family I must've crossed those tracks dozens of times checking out the Brick Church Rd cemetery, Pigeon Roost, Bridgewater and Old Man Ike's.

You know Old Man Ike's location? That is one of the few that I could not pin point. Could I have the location, please? I got all the rest of them.

Well I admit I can't confirm that the location I suspect is Old Man Ike's is correct, but I'm fairly certain it's the place. Makes me wish there was more to the directions than behind the factory in Sellersburg, that could be a lot of places. I think it's located on Stricker Rd off off of Brick Church Rd. A friend of mine also heard it was off a road close to the Brick Church Rd cemetery, but that's the only person I've talked to about it. It might actually may be more in Memphis than it is in Sellersburg. I've never been inside the house personally, mostly because it looks like it's about to collapse, not to mention the fact there's houses directly across the street. On the upside there's a meat processing factory across the street as well, which gives you a great place to park and there's no one there at night to tell you to scat. I've stood on the road many times listening to see if I could hear anything, but I'm probably too far away, you can barely see it at night even if you have a flashlight. I'll probably make my way to at least get along side the house later this year, in the fall or winter, when the yard isn't completely overgrown. Hope that's all the information you need.
