Rensselaer - Twin Cemeteries - on a road just out of Rensselaer, there are two cemeteries, on each side of the road. Legend has it, that there was a young couple whose families didn't get along. They decided to kill themselves Romeo and Juliet style. They left in their notes to be buried side by side. Their families didn't honor their wishes and put them in different cemeteries. Late at night, if you drive there and park your car between the two cemeteries, and shut your lights off, you can see a brunette women in white and a man in black walking across the road to meet each other. Warning: If you shut your car off, it will not start again. Also, the woman was from a religious family, so it is said that if you supposedly cuss, you submit yourself do the danger of being attacked.
Anyone know where this is... or been there?

Smith Graveyard - A graveyard near Moody Lane is where a man and a woman were killed on opposite sides of the road. And at midnight you supposedly can see the woman crossing the road to see her man. I wonder if they were buried on opposite sides of the road, going by its configuration.

Again. You are amazing. Thanks so much. I had kind of figured they were buried on opposite sides from the story. Seems interesting. && Worth checking out since it's only like 45 minutes away.

It was an awesome trip. However, I wish I would have known the names of the couple.. i got a couple of interesting pics.. and the graveyard is soooo old. It's kinda sad because there are actually a lot of children burried there.. like reallly young one and under... there was 2 in the same family.. kind of difficult to find.. but worth it.. not far from moody road.. which we went to afterwards.

Yeah, it's a good trip, plus dogface bridge and moody road aren't too far away. Moody road is only a couple streets and dog face is about 15 - 20 minutes.
