Does anyone know the location the Petersville house by located in Bartholomew County? I know the house burned but there were murders on that land and have heard so many stories about it.

Petersville Petersville House -Captured on film here was an apparition of a woman in a white dress along with several strong orbs. The house has since burned down and the haunting seems to have stopped. I cannot map it but I included it because of a point it helps prove. Many times a family member will haunt a house or a school building or some other apparatus that it felt close to when it was living. When that particular building or item is dismantled, the haunting usually ceases. Either the spirit finally finds rest or the spirit is divided into many small pieces and cannot collect itself. Petersville is two or three miles east of Columbus on Highway 46.

Azalia Bridge-A young woman spurned by the community for an illegitimate pregnancy would rove the town and the outskirts, scavenging for food for her and her baby. One day out of desperation, she walked unto the bridge and let her baby fall into the rushing water, swollen from the spring thaw. Pity reigned over the community and she was never punished for her deed. Her life after that consisted of sitting on the bridge lamenting for her infant. People say that if you go to the bridge and look down to the river below you will see the baby in a blanket and hear its cries for its mother. Some people have even seen the mother and heard her sobbing. The bridge and the road is no longer there and the creek is no more a ditch until a heavy rain or the spring thaw. Bridge might be closed.

I have had so many people ask me about this place, but since it has burned, I am not sure where it is located. Can someone give me clear directions on how to get to the Petersville House. This place is a legend in Bartholomew County
