Found this video browsing YouTube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDeB7-thNVEAn elaborate tomb was built on a bluff commanding a view of the Ohio River. It is said that many on the river have seen a ghost light or mist that settles over the tomb.

I'm planning on making a trip up here either tomorrow, or Friday.

Checked this place out today, and even though I didn't experience anything paranormal, it's probably one of the coolest locations I've ever been to. If you're in the area it's definitely worth the long hike up the hill. I wouldn't recommend doing this one in the dark, at least on the first trip, you'd definitely be risking permanent injury, if not death. You can definitely tell this place isn't visited often anymore, at least by the typical teenagers who "investigate" ghost stories they've heard, the newest piece of trash I came across was an old "Pepsi-Cola" aluminum can that's at least 10 or 15 years old. There's a geocache up there (www.geocaching.com) that we found with some pretty cool stuff in it, if you want to check that out.

The Vault is bigger than what I thought, and this picture doesn't really do it justice. Inside the Vault. View from the top of the hill. Trust me it's a tougher hike than what you might think, especially when you scale an untraveled path up like we did. Myself in the vault, where the bodies were once located. Dusk at the Vault.

Good pics. What is the story about the place? I couldn't make out what the guy said in the video.

Bridgeport
Captain Franks Tomb - An elaborate tomb was built on a bluff commanding a view of the Ohio River. His reason for choosing this lonely spot for a tomb was that he could shout curses at the passing Steamboat captains. It is said that many on the river have seen a ghost light or mist that settles over the tomb.
