I grew up living next to this house..and I know that the story is in fact bogus.. however, I do know a thing or two about how you can get nuts to happen no matter where you are ... even in your own home!!! First you have to psych yourself out then get really emotional over it and like nuts scared... then the phenomenon happens.. you in essence create a poltergist. And it is of your own making!! Your worst fears come to life!! Great right? Now for a more serious note.. Getting spooked is fun. But sometimes you really need to respect the locals.. They live there and don't need constant turn arounds in the driveway or weirdos (some ill tempered tourist) telling them that they will be cursed or try to threaten harm on the local that is asking a simple hey what are you doing here.. a polite just looking for ghosts is fine. Take Care and Be kind to the locals.. if you need a turn around don't use a driveway!

My wife and I went to the edna collins bridge a couple of weeks ago during the daylight just to see if we could sense anything or hear anything. While sitting in our van we experienced the van shaking (happens a lot on our investigations). While parked there I had to go out into the bushes to relieve myself and while I was gone the horn of our van honked 3 times. I thought that my wife was honking for me and when I got back she had not heard any honking. We played our digital recorder back and sure enough we captured the horn honking. She stayed in the van while I walked around the bridge and I heard the car door shut. My wife heard the car door shut but it was not her. We have no explanation except that something paranormal was going on.

Me and 5 friends just went to The Enda Collings bridge a few days ago. We got there around 10:30PM and explored for about an hour. We did the 3 honks/light flashes but nothing happened. So we parked our cars and started to look around. This is when things became creepy. A friend of mine brought her digital camera and snapped some photos, in which 80% had two orbs....one that is unsusally large and then an average sized one. Before we left we decidied to drive back through one more time. On the 1st way in we stopped and turned everything off. I welcomed Edna to sit with me: I put my arm around the empty backseat beside me and she snapped a photo(we did not notice this at 1st)....in which there appears to be a blueish/whitish figure just above the window, like at the heighth of a child. OK -- so we start the car up and turn around to go back thru the bridge and leave....we decide that we will stop again in the bridge and try to snap a shot just like previously. As we turn around and re-approach the bridge myself and the driver (both guys) can hear children laughter to the left of us in the field, but the girl that was with us didnt hear it. So we stop inside the bride once again....and I say "Its OK Edna you can come in here and sit with me." Put my arm around the seat and camera-girl takes another shot. She looks at it, immeadeatly starts to freak out and yells for the driver to drive. We get out of the bridge, look at the photo she took and there are little handprints right below the window. This completely freaked us out due to the fact that we didnt see the prints with the naked eye, just on the photo taken....and the 1st picture that had the blueish figure did not have the handprints even though it both shots where positioned exactly the same. I am trying to get the photos from the girl who went with us to I can show them off.
Say what you want but that bridge is indeed haunted by two spirits.

I don't live too far from Edna Collins bridge, so I have been going there since I was about 16. I'm 26 now, so I have been out there plenty of times. I will say Edna Collins is pretty hit and miss as far as things happening. Most of the times I go out there, nothing happens, but when things do happen, it's pretty intense.
I recall one time me and 3 friends went out there one night out of boredom. We tried it 3 or 4 times, and nothing happened. So the last time we parked in the bridge, my buddy laid on the horn and started screaming out "Come out, you f$#@ing b*%#h!" I know that was stupid, but hey we were dumb teenagers, what do you expect? Anyways, about that time we heard this loud growling sound. It sounded so unreal and scared the hell out of us. So my buddy went to start the car because we were all freaking out, but his car wouldn't start. Now this really freaked us out, considering his car was a new car and had no history with problems of it starting. So finally after trying for about 30 seconds, we got out of there and never went back for a few months. Then once we got to safety, we got out and noticed 2 handprints on the trunk of the car, which my friend insisted didn't come from him. Ok even if the handprints did come from him and he forgot they were his, the growl was very much real. Very scary experience.
