My brother and I have been to Stepp cemetery. about thirty times and only a few things where weird a few pics with fog in them and there was no fog that night. Steps behind you when you are walking out of the cemetery seeing shadows. But I would have to say Draper Cabin is one of the weirdest places we have been too. It has an overall spooky feeling too it and we have had some strange things happened there. My bro and I have done over a hundred investigations around Indiana and have had some strange encounters but we will be doing a lot more but we are looking for a serious group or some individuals to go with us. We live in Greenwood,IN If you would like to contact us just email me and we will talk. I will be setting up a website soon.

Hello. I hope you can offer me some information. I grew up in New Albany, IN. I have lived in Texas fr many years. I have never been to or even heard of Draper Cabin. However, the last 2 nights I have had very disturbing dreams about danger in a cabin in the woods. These dreams were far more vivid and freightening then most of my ordinary nightmares. In my dream someone is in need of help was trying to contact me, and something not human was present, evil, as well. In my dream, I was given the name Draper Cabin and that it was in Indiana. My boyfriend who believes me to be sensitive, due to past experiences looked it up on the internet and found this. I am shocked that his place actually exists, and has this history. Please, I know this is weird, and you might think me crazy, or a liar but, I must know who was the victum of the murder? I would appreciate any history or information you have.

yep with Halloween coming on, the park rangers start beefing up security because believe it or not we still have people the vandalize the cemetery. Last year me and a friend went up there to the cemetery and i would say there was about 100 people roaming around the cemetery scaring people, and there was a group of people trying to do some serious work and evp but was nearly impossible. There is a total of 4 smaller cemeteries that are hidden in Morgan Monroe Forrestry. the one i searched for had a high weed trail and when i got there Nothing had been done as far as upkeep. I found half dug plots which is kinda freaky, if i can get back there soon i will take pics its just unbelievable

Tony's right about DNR beefing up lately around Draper's and Stepp, and it's goes further than that. Although Draper's Cabin is usually rented out to the public, on Halloween weekend last year AND THIS YEAR a local law enforcement official has it reserved. Do NOT go down to Draper's Cabin the week of Halloween if you want to stay out of trouble! Me, I intend to go a week early. DNR was still running people out of the cemetery when the park closes at 11 the weekend before Halloween, but things weren't quite so crazy as on the real night.
Parking right in front of the cemetery is not a good idea, and parking along the road can get you a ticket. Go about a mile or so further down Main Forest Road, past the shelter house road. There'll be a deep parking area on your right labelled "Low Gap Trailhead". I don't think you're allowed to overnight park there, but at least you can get out of your car and make a plan there.
If you take the trail there -away- from the cemetery, the next path you cross up with goes down to Draper's Cabin. If you take the trail that goes back in the direction of the cemetery, you can stay off the road for a while and stay unnoticed. You have to bushwack the last quarter mile or so to come up on it.
If you want to look legitimate, keep driving up Main Forest Rd and camp at the camping spots right after the ranger station. I think they're 8 bucks a night. Throw a tent up and have one person stay behind and cook so it doesn't look bogus. It's a long hike to the cemetery, but if you grab a map from the ranger station, you can work out a shortcut.

Hello! I wanna go to Draper Cabin so I can go to Stepp Cemetary. How the f**k do you fool DNR? Because we don't wanna get caught. So I have no idea where to go at all! Help me! I don't wanna go alone. Please email me at Brynnstierwalt8@gmail.com if you want to meet up to go to Stepp Cemetary (during the day)
