I was in tennesee(cumberland county) about 2 yrs ago,and it is boring out there..so my cousin said he could show me some freaky nuts,just to keep me entertained.He began telling me of this hill that rolls u up hill,of course i didnt belive him!He told me a long story of a school bus of kids crashing there and the push u up and out of harm...of course thats bull nuts,but what ever,all stories need to be creepy i guess?Any hoot..we went there,which seemed like a forever car ride from where we were.And we went to this hill,and sure enough,he stoped the car at the bottom of the hill backwards,he turned the car off and put it in neutral,and up we went,and this hill is big.We slowly began r upward motion backwards,and it got faster and faster...when we reached the top of the hill we were forced down the hill at greater force than normall,it literally shot us down hill really fast,it definetly wasnt normall gravity....this was weird,so we did it like 4 times in diffent positions.Then i got out my bottle of mountain i i had a poured it on the road...first time ive ever seen liquid go uphill ...i was freaked!Then we went to this abandoned house in the middle of a wooded field,it was small but had 3 levels,no basement.It was dark in there and i was kinda scared(note im a 28 yr man who is big stocky bald headed look like i got out of prison type of person),but i was spooked...well me and my cousin went up to the 3rd level which was hard to squeez threw,it was very tight and small walk way,but when u enter the room it is bigger again,,,it was creepy looking but i saw no ghost presences.we went back downstairs and began walking threw the hall,when a bird flew past us in the house...i was like AAAAHHHHHH.It scared the living nuts out of us,i chased the bird trying to get him out of the house so hed live...and i finally caught the exausted bird and let him out the back door...when we decided it was enough of the house and we wanted to go we had to walk threw a room to get to the room with the front door.well when i walked in the room there was a all black man standing in the corner right next to me..i freaked out and sprinted backwards about 3 feet,my cousin looked and saw him there as well and when i saw him scream i knew i wasnt crazy,that he had seen it too,it was nothing more than a 3d shadow,no facial feature..just black like a shadow,but 3d like a human...we both ran for r lifes into the van and peeling out of this place in the middle of no where.I was nutsting my pants..lol....we both saw the same thing..it was creepy...so to finish this story off, i told him i wanted to just go home..but as scared even as he was,he reminded me we were far from home and we hadnt looked at the witches cemetary yet..as against it as i was,i didnt want to seem to much like a sissy,so we went. nothing weird happened in the cemetary spirt wise,but...this was a real witches cemetary,the grave stones were huge rocks and had pentigrams(satanic symbol) carved on them with there name and year.This one stone particular had a blood stain on it that looked in the form of a witch riding a broom...it was really weird.There was also graves that where above ground,they had rocks and stuff piled up..in on of them you could see in side where the casket was..it had a stone that read it was a 21 year old girl and her infant daughter. weirdest cemetary ive ever seen..very creepy,well if anyone wants me to call my cousin and find exact location for these places,id be glad to help....also i hope someone researches this hill i speak of,i couldnt find it on the net in any searches...

Wow, sounds like some pretty cool places. I'll have to keep these places in mind if I ever make a trip to Tennessee and run out of things to do. They definately sound like they are worth checking out.

from Tenn? Mooresville Gravity Hill - The source of this phenomenon is attributed to a woman and her son stopped to fix a flat tire here and were hit by a truck coming over the hill. It is their ghosts that push cars up the hill to safety. This is one of the more famous of the gravity hills, there are numerous articles about it and there is even an article about it in Wikipedia. From Mooresville, go west on High Street which becomes Highway 42 (Gravity Hill only works when facing west). Take a right (west) on East Keller Road on go almost exactly one mile. There will be a grain silo right before it. When you are in the (correct) valley, put your car in neutral and it should roll backwards, UP the hill.  |
