Camp Atterbury in Edinburgh

Edinburgh - Atterbury Job Corps Center - Strange sounds and footsteps have been heard in the different areas of the campus. People have seen yellow glowing eyes in the woods.

a haunting of the job corp center is plausible. i did some research on the history of atterbury and found out that whats now the job corp actually used to be the hospital (think WWII). "9,000 bed hospital treated more than 85,000 patients during WWII and was one of the Army's plastic surgery centers." i also discovered that when the military bought the land to make Camp Atterbury MANY graves (1,300) had to be moved. now while they did actually take the time to exhume the bodies, a lot of those bodies weren't buried in caskets and so had no protection from the elements and such. while moving bodies, diggers often found parts of bodies and let that suffice. (parts of skull, arm and leg bones only) i still have some info to go thru but i am going to plan a trip out to atterbury when its supposed to be clear enuff to do an investigation. i cant get into quite a few of the places since it is an active military training site, but theres plenty of places to look. so if anyone wants to come along let me know and ill get back on here ASAP with dates and such. ;D

lol yeah it was pretty disturbing info. i've got 3 ppl other than myself going (when we go lol) so if anyone else wants to join just let me know. it's in edinburgh IN (south of greenwood) if that helps anyone decide. anyone with equipment is especially welcome! as were pretty short on that ourselves.

Wouldn't be too far of a trip for me. How big are the areas you're planning to explore?

as much as we can really. i know theres a lot we CANT get into but i believe they still allow camping so it could possibly be an overnight kind of thing.

im a student at camp atterbury job corps and im interested in your adventure..i have a crew of 3 that is good at exploring and also have great scence of direection when it comes to camp atterbury..including me ...we have our own little investigations..and trust me it gets deep and deeper than you think.un told secrets unsolved misteries acers of woods.and oppertunity to expose the unexposed to the population of people whos interested ,wich is alot of people..
camp atterbury is half army base the other have was givin to job corps center .half wich was hanted... two insane isilems ,more than 10 spotting. of paranormal activities...rummers or deaths that got coverd.ect if your interested in taking me and my friends email me back at [e-mail]
