If you all ever decide to investigate some haunts in the southern part of the state, I suggest you go to Clark Cemetery. I visited it about a month ago with my boyfriend and a group of our friends. It is in the midst of Martin State Forest in the Huron area. The cemetery is basically in the middle of the forest. You will drive down a gravel road and out of nowhere, you see the graveyard. I am no stranger to poking around in cemeteries at night, but this place scared me like no other place I have been. We managed to get a great picture of some mist in which we can clearly see a face. Unfortunately, I do not know the legend behind the cemetery. I've kept a notebook where I write down places that I want to visit and I was flipping through it and I noticed that at some point I had writted down Clark Cemetery, but hadn't put down and info to go with it. I am not sure if you have heard of it, but I have been researching it and have not been able to obtain any haunted info about it. If anyone knows anything about this cemetery or wants to see our pics from the trip, just email me at tstick@iupui.edu

wow sounds like a pretty cool place to check out. i have never heard of that cemetery before so i can't help you out with any information. as you noted though we aren't able to go to a lot of place in the southern part of indiana since we live in the north. but if we ever go on a trip down around that area we will definently consider going there.

I am really trying hard to get some info about Clark, and I will post as soon as I find anything out. Also, I think that a trip to Stepp Cemetery is totally worth it. It is one of the biggest legends in the state, or at least in the southern half. You have to see Baby Lester's grave with all of the nickels thrown on it. There is something about if you throw a nickel on his headstone, you can hear him cry. People also go out there and do rituals, I guess, because oftentimes you can see melted candles in the graveyard. I would love to catch somebody out there doing something!
