AlexandriaInnes Mansion-At 601 South Indiana. Built by John Innes, who died right after its completion, for his wife Mary and daughter Blanche and his not yet born daughter, Robert. John was positive they were having a boy. Robert lived in the house until her death in 1977. The new owners tell of cold drafts, the sense of someone near, faint apparitions, shaking furniture and most of all, heavy footsteps from upstairs. A medium asserted that there is activity in the upstairs bedroom and bathroom.

Charlestown The Red House - Not much history is known about the house. I've heard one story of a man who committed suicide after the ammunition plant in the area was shut down. Cold spots felt, whispering voices heard, and orbs have been seen along with an apparition of a middle aged man. Directions:From I-65: 1. Take exit 6A to merge onto IN-265 E/IN-62 E toward Clark Maritime Center 3.0 mi 2. Take the IN-62 E ramp to Charlestown 0.3 mi 1 min 3. Merge onto Old IN-62 0.3 mi 4. Continue on IN-62 E 11.8 mi 17 mins 5. Turn left at Salem Church Rd 1.1 mi 3 mins 6. Turn left at Old State Road 62/Tunnel Mill Rd You will see the Tunnel Mill Boy Scout Camp to your right. As you continue down the road the first large bridge you come to is Ten Penny Bridge. As you cross Ten Penny Bridge slow down a bit, you'll go around a small curve in the road and your headlights will shine directly on the house. Best places to park are either on the gravel path to the right of the house, or in the spots hunters park along the left side of the road.

Pigeon Roost-On September 3rd, 1812, Shawnee Indians raided a settlement along the Pigeon Roost Creek near the bastion of Vienna. They killed almost the entire colony. They murdered and scalped a pregnant woman, ripped her unborn baby out of the womb, scalped it and laid it upon its mother’s breast. 22 people died in the massacre. Two months after this General Harrison marched up to Mississinewa and destroyed Miami villages. Today, people feel the souls of the slain when they visit the cemetery and memorial, some feel the sense of dread or doom and chills and some have claimed seeing apparitions.

I might actually go check out Pigeon Roost today, it's only about a 15 minute trip for me. I've seen the sign for it every time I go up to Bridgewater Cemetery in Scottsburg, but wasn't entirely sure what it was.
