DOGFACE BRIDGE-San Pierre "The Crew."

Back in the early 80's we used to camp out there on the river, which would be on the south side of the bridge which is no longer there. Back then the bridge was still there and you could walk across it (it was closed to traffic). We would drive up to the river from the south, driving over the first bridge (the one still there). I spent a fair amount of time there both during the day and night, and never experienced anything unusual out there. Back then the southern road, especially between the bridges was loaded with trash, and I mean tons of it, everywhere. It looked like a landfill it was that bad. So it doesn't surprise me that there are junk cars as well as car parts still out there. It is a creepy place for sure. People used to camp there regularly. This is the first time I have heard that it was haunted though.

I haven't been out there for at least 20 years. I found this forum as I was trying to find out when the 2nd bridge was removed. I do know that the bridge over the river was out of service by 80/81, and from what I remeber, it looked like it was out of service for a long time back then.

ahh dogface brigde, ill never forget what happened when I went there with my friend chris.
we pulled up to the entrance and got out of the car, then my phone shut off for know reason. so i turned it back on. we got over the first bridge and walked a good 300 yards then we stop and took 5 pictures each (3 of the 10 pictures had one of us in it), as soon as we put away our phones, we heard a dog growl as if it was really close to us and really mad too. so we turn around and start running back to the car. as we were running i could hear something running behind us, but everytime i looked back there was nothing there. so we come running up back to the first bridge we just jumped over it because its missing most of the flooring. as we were in the air jumping we heard the sound of metal scraping and then another dog bark. so we get back to the car and leave. then we start going over the pictures we took and find that only in the pictures that had one of us in it also had a dogs face hidden somewhere in the picture
