There is a place near the small community of Kramer, Ind. Down the narrow road surrounded by woods and a river, you will find MudLava. It was, in its day, a place where the elite went to get away from the hustle of "in the spotlight" life. With guest rooms, mud baths and exquisite couzine it was a place for the wealthy to come together. In one fateful evening a fire cleaned the dirty souls of many. Rebuilt, and opened again it was soon discovered sometimes the dead doesnt know how to crossover. It is since been abandoned. No music, no laughter no clinging of expensive Champaigne toasts. Until dead time. The time after 3am and dawn. Go there in the day. youll feel their presense. After dead time, they will feel yours. Be careful. Be respectful. Be open and pure to what you will experience.

Old Mudlavia Hotel - Some people claim this is nothing more than the owners wanting to drum up some publicity, others say this place is freakish. Whatever you believe, this is a creepy old mansion in a very desolate area of Indiana. Opening on Christmas day 1890 as The Indiana Springs Company, it was once a luxurious spa and escape for the elite. Some have said it was a haunt for gangsters like Dillinger and Capone and that discarded bodies were found in the natural pools. After a fire hobbled the Hotel, it was turned into an asylum for the insane. A once majestic, sprawling complex it has been reduced to rubble after 3 mysterious fires and has not been used since the 1920‘s. Strange occurrences reported here are ghostly voices and apparitions, people pushing you, sometimes down stairs, party noises and people milling about when there is no human presence there. When it was in use, people reported unexplainable scratches on their bodies. Authorities speculate it is the site of witchcraft ceremonies and pagan rituals as it is riddled with satanic graffiti. Given its ancient and sordid history, it undoubtedly has potential paranormal energy. Grab that and a pinch of black magic and you have a handful of potentially serious entity trouble as well as a high ranking on the “Must See” list. See also: Attica.

as soon as the snow thaws...which might very well be in May sometime...some friends of mine want me to take them there. I plan to encourage them to join me on a trip to Kentucky next fall to visit Waverly House. I have "followers" i'd guess youd say. My Grandmother has taught me things that as an adult I now have the courage to experience.
