For many countries overpopulation is their main problem. The main reasons for the overpopulation are the increase in birth, decline in mortality rates, increase in immigration etc. Mortality rates decreases due to advanced medical treatments. Also in India Overpopulation is the major problem. According to study, high inflation rate decreases the effectiveness of economic growth of India. In 2035 is supposed to overtake that of China. That would be a failure of the Indian government and the government should wake up now to work proactively to make new India with less population growth rate. High population densities require more resources to provide for the people. This includes shelter, food, clothing and other goods, power, water, etc. Also due to high population density it is harder for them to have a healthy agricultural sector, meaning a lot of their food is probably shipped to the nation. High population densities typically allow for a better spreading of diseases and more pollution with congested roadways. Shelter is the main problem; we cannot enlarge our lands according to increased population rates. The main reason for the increase the number of flats in Kochi is the Overpopulation.
