Nevermind, Storm. I found your old post about the Red House with excellent directions and it is in that steel trap of mine. Thank you!

Haha no problem, I was wondering why you created two similar topics. I should advice anyone who goes out to The Red House, it's hard to cover up the fact that you're there since your vehicle will more than likely be in plain sight and the locals are always suspicious of people being in there.

Part 2 RochesterOne I would like to see: Earl's Tree Cemetery (Old Shelton) -My name is Earl. Take a tape recorder out to Earl’s Tree Cemetery and strike up a normal conversation. When you play back the recording, you will hear a thin hoarse voice talking back to you. The voice is thought to belong to Earl, a three year old boy that is buried here. The people that captured this EVP think he is telling you a story about the tree over his grave. Maybe he is telling you of his roots.

Part 3. Dewart Lake. There is a cemetery north of Dewart Lake where they have reported a lot of activity. Bass Lake. Bass Lake Cemetery - This would make for a very interesting excursion if anybody knew the correct gravesite. There is supposed to be a tombstone with a mans face etched on it. If you were to hold a lighter ( a flashlight doesn’t work) underneath his portrait it would change to an image of the devil complete with a beard. Images of flame flicker around his face and some have heard a muted, diabolical laughing. This is only to work at night. Around this particular gravesite is thick grass which, at night, glows blood red through and through. There is also reputed to be a werewolf that chases cars. Old Haunted Hospital -The alleged spirit here is of the janitor. He is seen near the furnace of the old hospital in the basement, the only part of the hospital that is left. Peculiar sounds and almost human voices come from there and the nearby woods when no others are around. Marshall Muckshaw Rd. -Phantom rednecks. On nights lit by a full moon there is an apparition of an old beat up pickup truck with a motley crew of teenagers hanging off of it that will chase you. It is thought that a rowdy bunch had a terrible accident while cavorting around the countryside and now they like to muster up on full moons and create mayhem. The dangerous railroad crossing there has been a hot topic for years. There have been many accidents between trains and cars. Maybe that was the fate of the hooligans. Culver Paukooshuck’s Ghost-Paukooshuck was a very brave, if not foolhardy Indian. When forced from his beloved land on Long Point on the western edge of Lake Maxinkukee during the Trail of Death he repeatedly tried to escape. By the time the march reached the Mississippi River, the soldiers grew tired of his antics and slit his throat, leaving him for dead. But he did not die, and he crawled through the thick brush determined to make it back to his home. He made it home to find the White Man had cleared away much of the lands trees and had chased much of the game away. He was killed in a drunken fight in another village soon after and his remains were sent back to Long Point. His apparition is said to appear often on the grounds of his old hunting territory. The theory is that he is unable to attain rest because of a council edict declaring that he execute his own father, which he carried out, as punishment for an earlier fight in which Paukooshuck killed two Indians in yet another drunken melee. Right on this point was were my grandfather built his house, on Lake Shore Dr.

Bass Lake I don't know if it shows on my map or not, but you have to go down a trail to find the basement. It is overgrown and very difficult to find.

I haven't been to Bass Lake but I got a good firsthand account from someone that had or otherwise I would never had been able to map it's exact location.

Oh okay, I was wondering how anyone who didn't live their locally could find that place. I remember reading that the one piece of information they give you about it being near a Romanian hotel is incorrect, unfortunately I found this out after I spent the longest time searching for Romanian hotels in the area on Google.

I did the same thing. (Look for Romanian Hotels, any hotels near Bass Lake). Detailing and mapping all of these sites I have come across some very less than accurate accounts, and these are supposed to be from their own area. The person that told me about Bass Lake said there is a jesuit school nearby and wondered if that was what was supposed to be a "Romanian Hotel". Makes ya wonder sometimes.
