The last picture is what happens if you just follow the road straight instead of turning left onto that much rougher path to the left that I pointed to with the arrow in the first picture. The second picture is where that path eventually leads to if you follow it all the way.

Ah. No the road is when you turn left.. (or at least that's how everyone I have ever known has investigated it) But eventually after you go accross the railroad tracks (and continue straight) you reach like 2 or 3 houses, one of them being a farm kind of. It's about an hour walk, but a lot of people ride their bikes, however it's starting to get kind of over grown now..

On Google Maps the road is labeled W 58th Ave. once you cross the railroad tracks.

Has anyone here heard of frogman in Schererville off Kennedy. I went there a long time ago and remember going into an abandon house but thats about it. Didnt see the Frogman. I think you take Kennedy by the police station north to the stop sign. It kind of forces you to make a right turn but you can go staight down a dirt road and I think it goes all the way under Route 41.

It's possible Google Maps could be wrong with such an obscure road, but I haven't had it fail on me yet.

Yeah that's what I've heard. Have you ever come upon any of the abandoned houses that are supposedly down there?

Yeah...I was wondering this myself.
I've heard that what actually happened there was a huge fire trapping most of the workers inside.
I've been back and so has my friend.
He said the best time to go is about 12:30 ish in the morning. That's when all the activity is happening at once.
There's a creepy little room when you go up one of the sets of stairs. It's got some strange things written on the walls and when you pull the door open it's super creepy...but you gotta be careful because there's small holes that you could trip over...and personally I wouldn't want to trip over anything and risk getting cut up in there....the place is sooo dirty who knows what you might get infected with.

Oh, nothing. I mean, people have died out there a few times (car accidents, bar brawls going too far, wannabe-gangsta executions, fires), but it's a pretty enormous area (comprised of the Kingsbury Industrial Park as well as the Bird and Wildlife Preserve). With a google search (i.e. "Kingsbury Ordinance Plant + Indiana") it isn't hard to find the history of the location. The area use to be used for rogue paint-ball matches. I take friends out there all the time for all sorts of exploits (mostly hide and go seek tag). But, the idea that this place is hostile or, even scary, is only an invention of the mind. Sure, some strange stuff has happened to me out there, but I don't think without explanation. Further, I've been out there enough to know, at the very least, that the building is not dangerous or anything. I've spent plenty of time alone in there. No big deal. But, honestly, this is the way I feel about nearly everywhere I have been. So, I don't know.
